Hypotetický preklad piesne Lament for the Rohirrim (Žalospev za Rohirrov) z anglického jazyka do P-AdW západčiny.

 

 

Najprv pôvodné anglické znenie piesne, ako ju zložil Tolkien a v Dvoch vežiach zarecitoval Aragorn počas príjazdu k Edorasu, hlavnému mestu Rohanu. Text piesne:

Chcete si aj vy zaexperimentovať ? Nastavte si jednu z tých dvoch nahráviek na nižšiu hlasitosť, sledujte tempo spevu a pokúste sa spievať text v P-AdW západčine. :-) Verte mi, nie je to vôbec pochabé. Preložený text sa dá spievať fajn, len sa držte pomalšieho tempa, neponáhľajte sa. 

Ak to možno nejako takto mohlo znieť v Tolkienovej Stredozemi, keď Aragorn, nejaký Rohančan alebo hocikto iný recitoval alebo spieval túto pieseň, máte zase o niečo konkrétnejšiu predstavu ohľadom charakteru Tolkienových fiktívnych kultúr a ich jazykov.
