Hypothetical translation of Tolkien's song Far Over the Misty Mountains Cold, and its two follow-up songs The Wind Was on the Withered Heath and Under the Mountain Dark and Tall, all in P-AdW Westron. These three songs, all sung by the dwarves of Thorin's company, appear in The Hobbit as something of a recurring musical narrative.
The first song is heard at Bilbo's home, where it awakens his curiosity to such a degree, that he decides to change his opinion and join the expedition of the dwarves and Gandalf to the Lonely Mountain. The second song is heard when the company of travellers are staying for the night at Beorn's house, half-way through their quest. And the third song is sung by the dwarves after the Men of Lake-town manage to slay Smaug, with his return into the inside of the Mountain no longer a threat. Though the last song doesn't represent the ending of the story in The Hobbit, it forms a conclusion to the expedition to the Mountain. A musical beginning, middle and end.
